What is Lamus Hash?

Lamus Hash, often also known as La Mousse Hash, is a classic European sieved hash that mainly comes from Morocco and Albania. The name "La Mousse" (French for "the foam") refers to the soft, slightly foamy consistency of the material at room temperature. It is a traditional, more affordable hash variant compared with modern Ice Hash or Full Melt.

Production

Lamus Hash is made by dry sieving (Dry Sift): dried plant material is moved over screens, the kief is collected and then pressed into blocks with warmth and pressure. Compared with modern Ice Hash, purity is typically lower, because Lamus Hash contains more plant matter.
