Ban on supply to minors

Under § 10 of the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG), the supply of nicotine-containing products, nicotine-free vaporiser products (e-cigarettes, vapes) and related products to children and adolescents under 18 is expressly prohibited. This also applies to mail-order sales.

§ 10 (4) JuSchG expressly extends to nicotine-free products in which liquid is vaporised by an electronic heating element and the resulting aerosols are inhaled, regardless of the substance they contain.

Age verification in mail-order sales

Sales are made exclusively to persons of legal age. Legal age is requested during the ordering process; orders from minors are not processed. On delivery, nothing is handed over to recipients who are recognisably underage.

TabakerzG (Tobacco Products Act): regulation of e-cigarettes and vaporiser products including nicotine-free products, mandatory information and warnings on the packaging.
